If it looks like my drawn to scale little camper cabin is drawn on parchment it’s because I started planning all of this last fall to see how it would fit and work in the bed of my 1989 F350 and paper has a way of getting crinkly and parchment-y with age (especially if you’re erasing and changing things as many times as I did)
Anyway.
Since then, I’ve refined it a bit and adjusted the measurements to fit my new truck, but it basically the same. Just a little plywood box with two windows and a door.
Something to sleep in (’cause I don’t know if I’ll be sleeping in a campground, a truck stop, or a rest area) and a place to cook my dinner if the weather is bad.
But it’s finally finalized, which is a good thing because it was starting to look like if I erased something one more time the eraser would rub through my parchment-y paper and I’d have to start all over again.
And I don’t have time for that. I’ve gotta get going and build my little cabin.
Time’s a wastin’.
